Fallen Lady
Lady Musgrave Island is a tiny speck on the Australian Coast, nestled within the Great Barrier Reef. Lady Musgrave is renowned for its beauty both in and out of the water, thanks to the reef that surrounds the island. Walking around the little Coral Cay that is Lady Musgrave Island takes no time but you can spend hours watching the birdlife, meandering through the trees and just, well just enjoying nature.
When I visited Lady Mausgrave I was lucky enough to spend a few days , anchored in the lagoon and every day when I walked around the island I was captivated by this tree, a fallen Sheoak. I just loved the way the roots had become weathered, how it was resting on the crushed coral beach and how its trunk was reaching for the sea. I could not resist capturing it.
